These custom single expansion joints were manufactured for a rare isotopes beams lab at Michigan State University. They are 1" and 1-1/2" in diameter and fabricated entirely of 304 stainless steel. The expansion joints are capable of 1" movement, 380 lb. and 150 psig at 400°F. Dye penetrant exam and helium leak test was conducted prior to shipment.
